I've got an original copy of V8 Supercars Race Driver 2 (Australian version) and I want to make a copy of it. It is a DVD with StarForce 3 protection (not sure which version, but all the files on the disc are dated around April or May 2004). I've tried to use Alcohol 120% (1.9.5.3105) to copy it (DPM extraction at 1x w/ high precision, burn with RMPS, etc.) but whenever I try to launch the game it says "No disc found. Please insert the RACEDRIVER2 disc into another drive and press Retry". I'm running from a burned DVD, not a virtual image. What am I doing wrong? One thing I did notice was that when I selected 1.0x DPM extraction (high precision) it still only took 10 minutes or so for the entire disc, which seems a bit strange. I did remove all the StarForce drivers before I tried to copy the disc, but it doesn't seem to have helped.

Why not make an image of dvd, add the reloaded crack and burn it?

I see why the burnt version didn't work, but shouldn't the imaging process have read the DPM at 1x when I told it to? Surely it should've taken more than 10 minutes to read the DPM from a 4.2gb disc at 1x in high precision...
