Wow, I mean, wow..
To put it simply, this website will store a database of your media, and allow you to stream it from your home computer, over the net, to anywhere in the world. You need to install a server on your machine, but once thats done your set. Its 128bit encrypted and so long as your firewalled well enough it shouldnt cause any more issues than having a windows machine on your network haha.. Currently Ive only tried it over the LAN, which was great, worked amazing, but thats pretty expected  .. Needless to say, if you have a PPC, or anything with a media player which supports streaming, your sorted! AND YOU SHOULD TOTALLY TRY THIS!
Anyway, Ill post my results of streaming from uni tommorrow.. hopefully we will have something very worthwhile on our hands  I guess with my 8Megabit connection and the uni's JANET giga lines it should be pretty decent  - Ill let you know.

sounds like a waste of bandwidth to me, if I want to play a file from my PC on my laptop I burn it to dvd or usb pen drive and then im sorted.
