Hi2u!! This post is about what games have given you the absolute ultimate adrenaline rush, partly because im interested in what other people find "ultimately adrenaline rushing", and partly because i am STILL looking for a game to satisfy my seemingly bottomless adrenaline-need
I'll start, and i'll not include the first adrenaline rushes i got from say Quake 2 or Unreal, because that was before i knew there was anything "bigger" in terms of pure adrenaline.
My only big adrenaline game is UT2k4, some people may argue that the previous titles are better, but when i want my adrenaline rush, i just play some tight fast DM, so i'll always choose the latest UT release, since hey, then i get better graphics and cooler weapons =D
Fast paced ffa DM against bots or whatever, its just, gah nothing has beaten it so far for me, when you come into that trance-like state, you are one with the game, racking upp kill after kill and hearing the kickass commentator ultramale voice commenting it, there's just nothing else like it for me.
Altough, something waay underrated, is driving freeroam in NFSU2 against a friend on LAN, a friend that has pretty much the exact same skill level as you, and playing 5min-tag (have the lead for 5mins to win) in the city, if you both are the same skillwise, it could go on for hours
Leaving you both sweaty and disgusting when its over, just leaning back to watch whatever poker tournament is on tv
Edit: Trackmania Sunrise deserves a mention, because that can be truly insane at times =D

HL2 DM? Using the grav gun to shoot a toilet at some guy at some 400mph was/is insanely fun.

Pretty much any game that has a one aimed headshot = one kill, system in the game when played online works for me i.e. the rainbow six, ghost recon, raven shield series of games. Theres nothing like the adrenaline rush of guarding your life against one lethal bullet or conversely scoring the kill through good play.
System Shock 2 in co-op was a blast due to the fact that theres fuck all in the way of ammo on the levels and its just such an atmospheric game.
The last level of Halo when your racing through the level on the Warthog and everything is crashing around you plus theres a timer counting down until the whole place blows up, but your just putting the pedal to the metal driving through aliens and jumping over ramps whilst trying not to flip the vehicle - that level plays even better in co-op although sadly they didn't include that on pc.
Likewise there are levels on Halo 2 which have the same feel, one where your cruising across a bridge in a tank chasing after a HUUUUGGGE mechanical spider whilst being attacked by aliens in those speeder like vehicles and flying alien vehicles. Eventually you catch up to the spider when it crosses under a bridge then jump onto its back and proceed to kick the crews ass.
The Battle of Hoth in Star Wars Battlefront, the game isn't the best admittedly and it never was very popular but with the Star Wars music blaring out whilst 20-30 players race about the level in the full compliment of Star Wars vehicles its just a good feeling.
I get more of a rush when im gaming with friends.

playin CS gets my heart going. Especially when its just me. I do 'perform' though when im the only 1 left, doing trick jumps and spins and weapon switches and stuff. Plus there's nothin better in games than a few people after a round congratulating you plus I dont play on noob servers with whingers of hacks or owt .
ET is fun but its not satisfying. I dont find quake 3 arena satisfying either because its 1 shot and they're dead. I still love it but it just doesn't have the same effect although it does get my heart beating pretty fast.

Tribes 1 & Tribes 2
if you know how to set it up, patient enough to learn to play it and get help setting some "easy" scripts which will help you get a faster and more adranline rush game experience
www.gameshrine.com if you need some help on the games.
A movie:
http://neo.qozned.org/T2Movie.Lost.avi
Nothing beats shooting a guy mid air with a projectile which normally shouldnt hit ppl
PS:
Yes these games are free now also

bah single player mode doesn't give me any satisfaction anymore. You would think beating games like swat 4 would be satisfying but its too easy. As long as you're patient and dont mind checking doors and all that, its not hard at all.
MP is where it's at but I do prefer playing SP games most of the time.

Last major rush I got was from rFactor played with friends over lan/ip. Flying at 200mph+ in F1 car around a fast corner does require a bit of adrenaline in your system. When I opened that baby up for the frist time, after racing in the academy trainer for days, I screamed out loud in excitement. I swear it was like cumming for the first time all over again.

The best rushes i ever got was back when i was playing Dark ages of Camelot (a mmorpg similar to WoW). Best times were like 2 years ago when me and my guild were out daily with a group of eight people just fucking people up. There was one specific time when we killed over sixty people (real players at the same level as us mind you) in less than five minutes, and i think only one in our group died (instantly resurrected ofc) in that time. That was pretty intense.
As for singleplayer, the only times i get real adrenaline is from racinggames. You know you've been racing for 5 minutes and you've been driving flawlessly but so has the computer and he's just behind you. You're coming up on the finishline. That's when i always start thinking too much and all of a sudden im crashing into the walls and whatnot.

The most intense gaming moment for me was in Tribes 2. A long duel with all kinds of weapons and a lot of dodging. It's hard to describe but my heart was beating like I had just sprinted 100m after. No other gaming moment has come close to that one on one battle.
