Its a kind of a remake of the original, but it ofcourse looks nicer and it has lots of new stuff in it, a few new modes and all tracks are new. Only same thing actually are the cars and settings of the landscape.
if u have trackmania 1 u can download directly the release candidate of tmoriginal... it's basically the full game waiting to be burned and sold in stores.
and yes, even the final build of tmoriginal will be a freedownload for those who owns tm1
okay installed and played not so much new only 15 platfrom tracks
apperently you need to own both trackmania and trackmania sunrise in order to play this. It asked me for my sunrise cdkey but I could NOT use my sunrise cd to start the game would only start with trackmania cd
