I'm really getting fed up with the dorms at this school.
This year the majority of the White Sox games were played on Comcast Sports Net, a channel we don't get in the dorms. Today they play on ESPN and have the opportunity to clinch the division. So I turned on the station and at the bottom of the screen it says "This program not available in your area." which is complete and utter bullshit. For some unknown reason the school blocks out certain sporting events and it pisses me right off.
So whether or not you like Baseball or know what it is or even hate the White Sox, lets all give a hearty "Fuck You" to NIU.

Are you sure that ESPN didn't just black-out the game because some other local game has the rights to broadcast it?
From what I understand ... the national coverage would be blacked out if there is regional coverage ... in your case it would seem if Comcast is broadcasting it, then ESPN can't.

if that were the case i would imagine espn would run some other game going on or reruns of sportcenter because the dead air wouldnt be proifitable.

So its blocked on ESPN because it's also on CSN. I guess I'll just watch the highlights later but its looking good right now. Top of the 8th and we are up 4-1.
