NBA_Live_06_USA_XBOXDVD-GANT
I tried playing from my HD but i always get "dirty disc error" ANYONE GET PASS THIS?
i've tried ftping and it didnt work
i've tried burning to dvd-r and ripping to hd, didnt work
i've tried using qwix to transfer and it didnt work
only works when i play from a burned dvd-r....any ideas??...thanks

Yes I get it and I think everyone gets it maybe there will be a fix for it released. Well hopefully.

I'll say it before and I'll say it again, if you get it from NG, do sfv check and par check! Most likely your files are corrupted. DDE happen when some file or files get damge. Every releases are tested before they are posted so they all work.
If you hate it, ignore it.

What are you laughing at, I said every release work. It certainly work for some people who burn them. I still haven't tested the game. I'll tell you what happen when I ran it off the HDD. NFOrce doesn't have the nuke sign yet.

Just curious as to why a game might work off the dvdr but not off the hdd? What's the technical reason?

not working here from HDD too, I didnt try burn it to DVD, as playing from DVDs suck. I hope there will be working proper or fix soon :\

What media did you guys use that worked?? cause i used Verbatim DvD+R 8x and it didn't worked,it kept restart my xbox. but it do for some games

nope, looks ea found a way to stop games from being played off the HD, cause NCAA 06 doesnt work, neither does SSX on tour

SSX On Tour, NCAA Football 06 and March Madness 06 all worked off my xbox HD just fine, only one was NBA Live 06 but it played off the disc fine though but not off HD. So guess NBA Live has some sort of HD protection but those others worked fine for me.

Other than the fact that the game loads slower from a Disc as opposed to a physical piece of hardware, why do DVD's suck? How do you watch DVD movies?
At least you have a backup and can play the game if your Hard Drive pukes or goes south.
As for staying on topic: Only game that I ever had this happen on was Indigo.Prophecy and I was trying to load it off the disc.
