No, I won't request anything illegal in this thread.

Here's the thing. I re-installed UT2004 lately, and found out that there is an oline enabler patch.

I tried it, and it seems to work, more or less ...
I didn't had to specify any server. ( Usually, oline crack require jacked server, no ?)
The online browser does give me some servers I can join. But somehow they are all extremely laggy. Pretty unplayable.

Could anyone explain me how this online patch work, so that I can try and fix this awfull lag ?

Does it connect to an hacked master server ? If yes, where can I change this server ?
Is it possible that the lag is because this master server only display US server ? ( I'm in europe) Does anyone see a way of fixing this ? ( buy game is not an answer.)

Any info on how this patch work welcome.

the only option is buy the game, because the game servers check for a VALID key, and the hack, well, only lets you connect to the demo servers, or servers that run with this hack as well, and those are close to zero. so either you buy the game, or just play with friends on a private server...

So the explanation for the lag is that every cracked server sucks ( or are very far from me)

And oups, you're right wrong section.
