K, i got two image files, both around 700mb. Well, actually, there is no .iso, or .bin behind the file, there is nothing behind the name. Tryed to mount them, gives me an error, when opening the cd, corrupt or wrong format . Then I tried to open the file with a rar, i saw the cue file in it and a 14mb bin file. Repaired the file and got many 14mb bin files and a cue, there all with the same name. There is no 01 or 02 behind them. When I try to extract these files, the volume browser pops up, but i got nothing to browse.

Are these files doomed or is there anyway i could still use them?

Did that, it wants volumes. If I only could extract the little files one by one and change the name to r01, r02. But I can't, winrar automaticly tries to extract all of the files.

What extension did you expect the file-s to have....? Sorry i'm bit confused from your first post.

When downloading from IRC you normally download one compressed file containing 1 or more CDS within that file...So lets say i downloaded a 1 CD Game i would extract the file i downloaded and i would end up with an archived set of files...IE: .RAR .R00 .R01 .R02...Etc Within that .RAR archive i would normaly find the .BIN and .CUE we need....Is that what you expected..?

From what you say above you can open the file with WINRAR and have several .bin files and a .cue within the file...Well straight away that isn't normal... Confused

What exactly is this download...Pc Game, Movie, App..?....I Hope i haven't confused you now... Wink

Yey, the first post was a bit confusing. I download a game, two cd's, guess they weren't image files, sorry about that, i was a bit confused myself. I opened it with rar and saw two files, one bin and one cue. The bin was 14mb, but the rar itself was about 700, so i repaired the rar and now, there is many files (14mb) and a cue file. Well, I expected them to be like r01, r02 but they werent. They all had the same name. Flt-***.bin So when I try to extract one of those bins, im going to have to extract them all, but .. i cant, i need to insert volumes that i dont have, well, atleast named like r01, r02.

If you guys still dont get it, im going to take some screenshots.

Sorry m8 got to pop uot i will be back in about 30mins.

Mmmm...Sounds to me like you were downloading from a BOT and had to resume the download from another bot and the file has been currupted... Confused .... I've done this myself and ended up with a 700mb rar file which only contains 60mb worth of the archive it should have

Anyway i'll be back ASAP...Some screenshots would be nice
