Just got fable load it changed my video setting to 1024x768 with all the rest of the stuff set to high loaded the game jumped cutsenec got to village and the res had gone to 680x480 and all setting to low can ne 1 help?

got the same prob on 9800pro and 1800xp

leave the settings on default.
start the game.
when the intro movie etc..is over, and you're standing in town, then change the settings.
ATI users be sure to set "shadow detail" to 2/3 max.
