Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike (c) Ubisoft *FULLDVD* *PAL*

  • Official web page: LINK
  • Publisher: Ubisoft
  • Developer: Red Storm Entertainment

  • Genre: Action/Shooter

  • Release date: 8/2/2005

  • Story/Description:
    From IGN.com:
Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike, a standalone expansion pack of new levels, modes, skins, weapons, and tweaks, follows on the footsteps of last fall's Ghost Recon 2, which in itself was a re-imagination of the series with a slightly more Rainbow Six weapon feel, one less squad, and a highly improved graphic engine.

The package is inexpensive at $29.99 with a quickly approaching release date of August 11. But what exactly is a "standalone expansion pack?" Easy peasy. Ghost Recon 2 Summit Strike does not require the purchase of Ghost Recon 2 to play it. It's got its own single and multiplayer levels, entirely independent of the previous game in the series.

With 24 multiplayer maps, including a handful of new, more open designs, and 24 multiplayer game modes including the ever-favorite squad, solo, and co-op game types, ghost fans are in for a Kazakhstani field day. The multiplayer maps feature both rural and urban landscapes, as well as some maps from previous games in the series. The other interesting thing about this kit is its single-player campaign. There are 11 single-player missions, all of which feature the ability to replay them in Lone Wolf mode. All of the single-player levels can also be played in cooperative mode as well.

  • Multiplayer: Offline Players: 1-4
    System Link: 2-16
    Online Multiplayer: 1-16
    Downloadable Content
    Online Scoreboards
  • Media type and size: DVD, 37x50 MB
  • NFO file: LINK
  • Multilanguage: YES (See NFO file)
  • Preview: Gamerankings.com,

Just because it isn't signed doesn't mean it's beta. It's been the same with Splinter Cell Chaos Theory released by the same group.

Yes but there's at least a pretty good chance that it is beta.

No. The Splinter Cell release was properly signed.

I seriously doubt that the release is beta. The problem on the other is the fact that some bioses (for the xbox) has problems running unsigned xbe's. It can happen if you are trying to use XBMC or whatever.

It is also easy to solve the problem with .xbe patcher or any similar app. Extract the ISO, patch the xbe, repack and burn or FTP to your xbox.
