Notorious Russian spammer Vardan Kushnir was found bludgeoned to death in his Moscow apartment on Sunday. He was killed by repeated blows to the+ head, Russian news agency Interfax reports.
Kushnir, 35, headed the Center for American English whose aggressive spamming practices have angered net users. In the past the Center’s telephone was advertised as a contact number for "cheap sex services". Separately disgruntled surfers have blitzed the American English Center with nuisance phone calls and returned email messages. Lawmakers are considering the introduction of anti-spam laws but the practice remains legal in Russia and Kushnir remained defiant about his "right to spam".
The public prosecutions office of Moscow's Central administrative district is yet to establish a motive for Kushnir's death but is treating the case as murder. Russia’s Interior Ministry reports 1,935 unsolved murders, 73,000 burglaries and 11,400 robberies between January and May 2005, Mosnews reports. ®

Imagine running a group/server/company etc etc and evry day you have to hire people to take away the spam (example) that will cost you money...
I HATE SPAMMERS,I REALLY DO... People who spamm must be the devil himself
Spammers on newsgroups = group bashers
Spammers on websites = trying to make money
Then you have all kind's of shit, free ipod's if you spam for us, etc etc
I wouldn't kill a human being if I found out he spammed my company/site/group etc etc but I sure hell would hurt him, why should I loose money because of that asshole?
I don't think you know how serious it really can be, I have a telephone spammer, I told him to fuck off several times (yes I've asked the authorites for help, no joy) That guy/company phones me evry day, tell you what I wouldn't mind bashing his head in, im sick saying that? Sure if that will make him stop phoning me, im a sicko!

Wasn't directly replying to you mate ... just the general consensus that killing spammers is fine.
Hurting the spammer isn't exactly a sane choice either.
