i got to be honest and say i dont like the idea of 2 bundles just make one with all the stuff you need n thats it cuz you know they do that so u buy the cheaper one then they jack up the price on selling the extras seperate when they suddenly start selling games that must use the hard drive etc etc

i was thinkin about maybe gettin an xbox360 cuz ps3 is so far away, but for 399€...no way.

So your not going to get any of the next gen systems (well maybe Nintendo's) sony have been repeating a lot recently that the price of the PS3 is going to be high...

anyone remember what the ps1 cost when it came out?
you can either have it when it comes out for 400/300 bucks or wait and get it for like 200 or 150 a year later.

£270 for a next gen system is a master stroke.
it cost £300 for the xbox.
Lets face it, if you are stupid enough to buy the £207 version, you have to buy a memory card straight away, so you already add to that price.
For £270 its a steal.
its actually nice to see the old school Dollar to pound pricing being changed.

no, i ll be gettin a ps3 cuz i was planning to do that all along.
the thing is i ve been planning to get an x360 too if the price is low enough, but it isnt. |

lol yea and 5 months later every single game requires the virtual reality body motion sensor set included in the expensive bundle.

What's the point to not make the HDD as standard  people needs it ANYWAY. you either spend $39.99 on a 64mb memory card or $99.99 for a 20gb HDD. Unless you never gonna save your game progress....
i wouldn't be surprised if Sony releases the PS3 with HDD as standard, so developers can support it. And don't forget, price is not an issue when it comes to "Sony" brands, people will STILL buy PS3 if it's tagged at $500-$600
even if PS3 don't support HDD, people will still buy their consoles, M$ should have taken the chance/advantage  Unless M$ changes their mind at the end, and make a surprice to make the HDD as "standard", then i think M$ just dug their own grave in the console market.

Or you wait till they figure out how to mod it and then buy a good package from a modding seller of your choice.

I'm gonna wait next year don't have any cheddar to lay down for a machine. xbox was my first console ever purchased. so i could wait for the 360. Is the 360 gonna have system link

I'm not 'excited' by any of the XBox 360 titles. I'll be able to hold off until it's clear who's console I'm better suited to. I have a feeling it's going to be the PS3 as I like to keep my PC up and running concurrently which is why I always felt the XBox just wasn't worth my attention.

theres also a few games on xbox360 that also still to come out on the normal xbox also, like:
Burnout Revenge
Need for Speed Most Wanted
Tiger Woods 2006
Call Of Duty 2
then theres still loads of xbox games to come out that still warrent a look at:
Battlefield 2 Modern Combat
brothers In Arms 2
Far Cry Instincts
SSX 4
I mean this is unusual for a games console, because normally everyone is glad the next console is released because there is nothing being made for the current gen, but not this time which is a 1st in console land and there is alot of overlap titles also, so for me i will wait and not get the 360 just yet as there is still plenty of life and most importantly games comming to the xbox
