I know exactly what you mean. Their website is crap for getting things like drivers, info, etc.
I won't even get into trying to get support via email from them!
I only bought one Asus board and it was my last.

The website might be shit but the motherboards are fucking king.
In my world only 3 brands exists thats Asus, Abit and Gigabyte. ASUS and Gigabyte for all the "oh so needed accessories" and Abit for overclocking.
Have had several of all brands. Not one has failed me so far and all has been working 100%.

Well I have a gmail account which has all my 'essential' files such as working sound card drivers, apps, shoolwork etc. and the stuff I keep when doing a reformat i.e. graphics setups etc. I have 1 text file in my start menu which contains all sorts of random info like IP's FTPs names addresses etc. which can easily be backed up on gmail . maintaining a DVD like that is just time consuming since I have so many cd's and dvds lyring around it would take me hours to find it, plus i'd be side tracked by a game I just found or w/e

yeah, thats the key, being organized man
I know what to do but I cant seem to do it lol
I need to buy one of those nice computer desks with enough media storage space and shit, clean up my bedroom/computer room, sort everything out into their original cd covers and shit and etc
Ive been saying that for like 2 years now...still havent done it cuz I know it will take me atleast 3 or 4 hours to do it if I sat down and only cleaned and shit...but like u said sub, I'll get side tracked my a game or a movie, or a phone call/going out and it wont get done

Two hard drives. Windows drive and everything else drive. All my movies, games, applications, documents are stored on my everything else drive, and windows is... on my windows drive. Drivers are also stored there, so yes, I format whenever the fuck i feel like it and never go looking for drivers. I wrote a bat, i run it and leave my computer for 20 minutes, come back, reboot, and I'm driver'd up

I keep windows on this drive (150gb) and my games etc on my 250gb. But because I never get round to deleting or I just d/l too much shit thats un-deleteable i.e. rare films, my downloads spill onto the drive and i'm stuck hording another 60gb. i really should just buy a small Hd 6gb in size and stick windows on that but its just too much hassle

encrypt drivers etc. that can be found on the net anyway? why? I'm not foolish enough to back 'personal' information on a third party server which could (not likely but still possible) be hacked into or at least deleted / lost.

Best server to backup is your head. Come on, who can't remember a few usernames/passwords?
