agree.
my suggestions:
try removing the old drivers (use Driver Cleaner for that) then install the latest.
also dont forget to install motherboard\chipset drivers.
if this continues, try reformatting (last resort!) your hardrive and reinstall windows. then try again.
if the problem occurs again, then it might be a defective card.
btw it can probebly be a bad PSU as well. i used to have this problem on my old rig with a 9500pro card. after replacing the PSU its gone. but that was my case.

anyway... good luck

My System:
CPU : AMD "Barton" 2500+.
Memory : 768MB DDR PC2100.
GFX : Nvidia 6600GT DDR3 128MB , AGPx8
M\B: Gigabyte GA-7VT600P-RZ MotherBoard
Sound: AC97 Realteck 5.1 ALC655 - Audio.

Well I know for a fact the PSU is good.
It could be the card as its new, but surely I would see more issues than this, games appear to be fine! If it happens again Ill do a driver re-install and then an entire windows re-build Smile!

Just to clarify, the marks showed up wherever my text cursor had been, in all input boxes. It happened after using Thunderbird to reply to an e-mail and didnt go away afterwards. So it could just be that application causing my issue with text input boxes.. Ill check out there bug reports too!

thanks all

If your problem persists please give us your system details. Especially the brand of both the GFX card and your MOBO chipset. I have read a bit about 2D corruption and might have some ideas.

Thanks...

DON"T REFORMAT!!

Tjecked the cooler on the CPU or PSU, i have to clean my cooler on CPU sometimes, else it just gets to hot.

perhaps someone could send a watercooler to denmark Smile

haha FU. I'm using the original PSU and the heat change is minimal, which is expected using a more powerful PSU.. need to run more tests, but I think it could of been a one off.. I dunno.. Im so confused.

Either way I lost 500GB of data Sad! Guess its time to "start again"
