Movie was pretty good, but it was geared for older audience... Most people wouldn't have even picked up that, when Starsky and Hutch had to go into biker bar, they dressed up as guys from Easy Rider (biggest pot / hippie movie of late 60's about two bikers traveling through US and then getting killed by rednecks)... Snoop Dog was pretty good too...
About Screener quality, it's about VHS quality rip with warnings and BW frames... Not too bad for those who don't want to wait for DVD rip and large leap over Telesync like all other DVD screeners...

telesync = recorded with a camcorder with a direct sound feed plugged into it
screener = promotional vhs/dvd

so basically "screener" is almost like a DVD or a DVD rip?

only if it states that it is a dvd screener if it just says screener it will be from a vhs tape
