And more style. :D
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year, running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.

well ... it's about people going on a rampage .... but I doubt it would resemble something Oliver Stone did... which wasn't original itself.
I like this snippet from one of the reviews:
"Finally, I'm wondering how Zombie achieved an R rating from the MPAA, since the unbelievable violence and full frontal nudity is taken to obscene proportions. Some might label him satanic, others cathartic, but whatever you call him, Rob Zombie has guts."

Reviews means shit.
It got more then American History X... jesus... RT SUCK!
About Hitman: Movie (2007)
Vin Diesel is a hardcore gamer, and absolutely loves the Hitman series. For that reason I have faith that he wont destroy the movie.
Response: Well, Uwe Boll probably loved the Alone in the Dark games.

I've noticed a recurring theme throughout the reviews -- that the Devil's Rejects is much better than Ho1000C!
Quote: | Gone are the overblown campy theatrics of "House." Zombie has directed straighter, better performances from his cast while still retaining their earlier characteristics. |
Quote: | The picture, which represents a technically assured leap forward from the shock-rocker's directorial debut |
Quote: | Recycling the trio of butchers from his 2003 surprise hit "House of 1000 Corpses," is a brutal, punishing yet mordantly amusing work that far outpaces its predecessor in its grisly single-mindedness of vision.... |
Quote: | Since his debut effort House of 1000 Corpses, Zombie has not only grown as a filmmaker and discovered more compelling ways of sustaining dread |
Quote: | Fans of the first film will be in for a shock, for sure. There are no dark stormy nights here, and no pseudo-undead mumbo-jumbo. It's a road trip, more or less. One of the most violent and sadistic road trip movies ever, in fact. |
Quote: | Technically, Zombie has improved greatly as a storyteller. Gone are the weird solar effects and film-school tricks of the first film, replaced by a more confident use of the camera |
Quote: | The first film left a bad taste in the mouths of true horror and Rob Zombie fans but this new film more than makes up for the uncomfortable predecessor. True, it’s not a traditional horror movie, maybe not even horror movie at all, but there are massive amounts of blood and violence as well as sick humor and it also contains the most nudity I’ve seen in a new, R-rated film in a long time. |
Quote: | Rob Zombie fans will rejoice at this new film and will pardon him for the flaws found in his first film. |
Quote: | ... back when House of 1000 Corpses came out, I thought things couldn’t get worse. Even if you dug Zombie’s carnival of grinning monsters, you can’t deny the flick was little more than a horror fan with $7 million dollars and not a single clue about telling a story ... (it is) our belief that those dire results were simply the product of inexperience. All Zombie needed was a few well-placed criticisms and a little advice to steer him in the right direction. Judging by how The Devil’s Rejects turned out, I think we may have been right. |
