Well i've just played it, and what can I say, if you like platform games, or anything vaguely remoted you'll love this one!
The menus are well done and have an ingame effect like Merc where theres a tourch in a cave. Anyway, the FMV's are also well done, although seem a little Jap - i mean, you can definately tell this game wasn't made locally (USA / Europe).
But, the game's graphics are brilliant, the best i've seen in a platformer for a long long time. There are loads of things happening and everything looks pretty crisp - maybe it could have been a little sharper but all round the graphics are pretty awsome for this type of game. The environments are very large and theres loads to do, although the path you follow is very linear as you'd expect from this type of platform. The levels include rocky mountains to deserts to icey worlds - everything you'd expect, and they all look pretty nice too!
Next up is the audio - which again is great. Considering it's animation, theres no real lip sync but once you get into FMV audio you'll be impressed with the surround sound effects etc. - i was.
Gameplay is brilliant. It's put kinda an edge on current platform gaming in that you can fight in a large variety of ways. You can "Boomerang" your attacky thing, or just wipe it at enemies. Everything in the environment is destructable which is also great.
After completing the first level (you're father is captured and you go running for help), you get taugh how to turn into this massive creature thing, with yet (maybe 6+) more methods of attack, including some really special super attacks which use up your, lets call them crystals you collect as you go along.
There are loads of minigames in this too from the looks of things, and although i haven't tried them yet they look interesting enough.
The way the game is structured is very similar to the popular Crash Bandicoot. You choose the level from your home place, and there you can complete each level and slowly work your way up the mountain.
This game is ideal for kids too, so if you've got them, i can recommend it. It's not too violent and the kids should be able to grasp the basics pretty easily.
All round, this one is worth it. I recommend killing some time with this, and keeping it. If you're stuck or slightly annoyed with Merc for whatever reason, kill some time, and dinosaurs with this.
7+/10 from me

I've been playing for quite a while, I haven't had any problems with the camera?
