Hi guys,
I've had this problem for a long time and would like to know if any of you could at least point me in the correct direction.
The problem: uploading
I have an SDSL line which in itself is completely fine.
When I upload however I have the following problems:
-maximum upload is reached for a few seconds then it breaks off to 0kbps
-CPU load is at 100% right after starting the upload (CPU: Pentium 3,2Ghz), and stays that way, even if the download has broken off to 0kbps
-FTP transfers to the Xbox over my Network (direct ethernet cable) are slow and ALWAYS incomplete (always leaving a few bytes off, but claiming that 100% has been transferred)
-Any upload that is reported as 'Transfer finished succesfully' is incomplete, meaning some bytes are always missing
-This happens with the following: FlashFXP, DCC over IRC, ANY FTP client (also TotalCommander FTP), Serv-U 6.0 (FTP-Server)
-Bittorrent works perfectly (?). No CPU issues, no uploads breaking off, however, if I set maximum peers to over 60, the torrent freezes (like with a lot of Network cards)
My Specs:
Windows 2000
3,2 Ghz Pentium
2048MB RAM
on-Board Marvell Yukon 10/100/1000Base-T-Adapter, Copper RJ-45 (Network Card)
a totally fresh Windows install didn't change a thing.
Thanks for ANY insight (Network card is shit, Network configuration, etc.)

I would suggest trying a new network card. What sort of modem is being used for the SDSL line?

my Modem is a Lucent Cell pipe.
Though i doubt I have issues with it, since the FTP problem persists while transferring over a network from PC to Xbox without the Modem...
