Now, I'm not the grammar police, and I don't mind spelling mistakes at all. A few acronyms are ok, except "lol". "lol" is just annoying.
BUT PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PEOPLE, USE GOD DAMN PUNCTUATION!
I could quote dozens of barely understandable posts that would have been made as clear as running water with only a little coma or period here and there!
Here's one (of the many many) that made my eyes hurt:
Quote: | You know how slow are German to Dubbed there games , i am sure you can still wait more months , german games also have difficulties to find publishers for there games ( EArth 2160 is a big game indeed but it look like always that german devellopers prefer to fix all the bugs first before to release them worlwide cause it is true often german games are so buggy when they get released there so well it takes sometimes to see those games to be release worlwide but i prefer to have a game with less bugs Smile) . |
oh and FakeBitchKilla.Inc, you're a nice guy, but for christ's sake stop only writing lines with 4 '!' at the end!
Quote: | yes
buying no games and saving 4 big pc !!!
but u dont need a big pc if there arent any games !!! |
Quote: | omg .........
maybe he is right..............and they mean summer 06 !!!
Shocked |
On a final note, a famous one-liner!
Quote: | Punctuation is the difference between: "I helped my uncle Jack, off a horse" and "i helped my uncle jack off a horse" |
Please be considerate of the litterate.

Indeed, it is.
But as stated I do not mind the occasional spelling mistake.

Quit laughing at the topic starter. 'Literate' should in fact be spelt as 'litterate,' as it's derived from the Latin litteratus, meaning 'learned, liberally educated.' But for some reason, one t had to be omitted.
English is just one of the roman languages that was born out of the dead Latin language, and lots of English words still look surprisingly much like their Latin originals.

like skidrow said "as long as I can read it it's fine". If you can't mentally punctuate things yourself then that's your own problem Since we're not all English speakers either I can't expect everyone to be fluent in it.

About Hitman: Movie (2007)
Vin Diesel is a hardcore gamer, and absolutely loves the Hitman series. For that reason I have faith that he wont destroy the movie.
Response: Well, Uwe Boll probably loved the Alone in the Dark games.

Well, it isn't, and languages are their own. We are not speaking latin, and individuals should not dictate what should and should not be spelled in certain ways.
Oh, and as the learned already expressed, english is a derivate of Germanic (Proto-Germanic and Northwest Germanic, North Germanic, Ingvaeonic, Anglo-Frisian... which later on evolved to Old English).
Of course some words have been borrowed, but the way languages develop, they fit the words they loan into the way the language is structured otherwise.
---
For your entertainment, some Olde English:
Quote: | Hettend crungun,
Sceotta leoda& scipflotan
fæge feollan,feld dænnede
secgas hwate,siðþan sunne up
on morgentid,mære tungol,
glad ofer grundas,godes condel beorht,
eces drihtnes,oð sio æþele gesceaft
sah to setle. |
And that is spoken:
http://www.kami.demon.co.uk/gesithas/media/brunan2.ram
Sounds like latin to you?
Yes, yes I'm back.

How does "est" change to "what" ?
And what happens to the "the" at the end of the first sentance?
It suppose to be : I'll call you whatever I want it's whether you accept it or not... The(?).
And I think goof yohrst means "Good yours" |
est = what because es = 1 to the right of wa. wat is the only possible solution really.
idk why he said the at the end but it's probably just an accident
It really was good to hear. here's the rest of the chat
me> good to hear @ person
person> lmao
person> yeah thats what i was tryin to say 'me'
me> yea
person> tooooooo fuckin funny
i got good to hear from the same basis as ^
goof yohrst
good tohear = missed space. since they spelt goof instead of good it was pretty easy to see

It's such a shame what one misplaced finger can cause.

I blame the keyboard. Those nasty little devils keep taking steps while you're looking away. I nailed mine to the desk. That'll teach that sucker.

o.o
Gutyreader, if you believe that inanimate objects move while you’re looking away then I could suggest a treatment that has helped me through many weeks in which I suffered from insomnia-induced hallucination.
Hold on the object you believe is moving.
Close your eyes.
Count to ten; forward and backwards.
Take a deep breath and slowly count to three.
Open your eyes and lick the object.
Let go of the object.
Then look away.
If the object hasn’t moved then you have succeeded.
See, once you put your saliva on it, it believes it’s a person and without any legs it will not move, without a mouth it will not scream and without any hands it will not do anything stupid . =D
It is cruel, yes.
But it works =)

But, you do have issues.
I don't think any of my inanimate objects move when I’m looking away!
And for sure I don't nail them down when I do.
Because that's cruel treatment of inanimate objects!
You’re cruel and I don’t think I can continue talking to someone who willingly shoved a handful of nails into a keyboard.
Man, that’s sad. How could you even do that?
How could you even contemplate such an action?
You’re an animal! =(
An object loathing animal. You deserve to be put to sleep!
Forever!
There is no use or need for creatures like you!
You're inconsiderate!
You’re brutal!
You’re mean!
You’re cruel!
I’m sick of you!
You disgust me!
I hope that you burn in the depths of hell!
God doesn’t like you!
