I can't get this no cd to work. Somewhere else it let me install it. But i keep getting this message saying "please insert cd etc." It let me install the game onto my hardrive but i can't get past that message. I'm sure someone here has run into that and would know what to do.

Open the disk and look for a folder that names the group. Put the crack in there into the correct folder and all will be solved.

open up my c: and put the crack into my game file. tried it nothing happened same deal "please eject cd and reinsert"

i put it in that same folder as th e gam. so i went like this. c:, rome:total war, and put the crack into the folder

If you have a shortcut on the desktop right click and then go to properties. then open folder. copy the file into that folder and it will overwrite the original .exe.

Right click it. Then go to properties. Click on the window it opens up find target. That will open a new folder/
copy the crack on the game disk to that folder.
It will overwrite the original file. Then you can play

uhhh it still say please insert the right disk. do i have to put the crack just in the same folder as the game?

i know i'm close cuz when i put in the cd the little menu comes up to play the game but it just won't work. Where could i have messed up at?

No because you're using the original .exe which has the protection. Okay have you found the cracked file?

Okay right click on the cracked file and select copy.
Then go to your desktop and right click the game shortcut. Then click the find target button. that will open a new folder. On that folder but NOT on a file right click paste. Then run the game.

You've not failed me. The file needs to be overwritten by the cracked file as the original file is protected.
Is this the first no cd you've used?

Keygen?
A keygen is something completely different.
If the game is installed then the use (in most cases) of the keygen isn't needed.
It's simple. Over write the original file (which has the protection) with the cracked file (which has had it removed)

i'm going to take 1 more stab at this
i've got the shortcut ok. now forget about that one. Can i get the crack on a copy of the shortcut and then overwrite that cracked copy with the original???????????????????
