I've been playing this game for 4 days now without serious problems, although the sound sometimes became muffled as if i was using a silencer, but it righted itself after changing vehicle or dying hehe. But now i cannot even get into the game, i keep clicking the gta3.exe file but nothing happens, i've tried reinstall, reinstall the exe file from hoodlum crack and also mounting the MDS image again to no avail. What gives?

i also had this problem... after the game crashed. delete gta_sa.set in your "GTA San Andreas User Files" directory this will reset your settings...but after that it worked for me

Erh....do you perhaps know what my sound problems persist of?, it goes out and comes in, and muffles sounds sometimes and such, i have a live soundblaster card.

found this on another forum...don't know if that's exactly your problem tho.

I found that changing my speaker settings from 5.1 Surround to Quadraphonic fixed this issue.
