im looking up at the moon.. and you can see jupiter right next to the moon.. and if u look throu the binoculars u can see 4 of its moons Smile

i highly doubt you can see jupiter and 4 of its moons with a simple binoculars

Well i just did a google and i found

Thursday, June 16 - North Australia and New Zealand are featured on this universal date as the Moon occults Jupiter.

Also found this

The June Lyrids meteor shower will also peak in the early morning hours and will be best after the the Moon has set. With the radiant near bright Vega. you may see up to 15 faint blue meteors per hour from this branch of the May Lyrid meteor stream.

Its almost 2am here at the moment Smile

Uh.. How do you think Galileo discovered 4 of Jupiters moons?? The telescope he used in 1609 was probably about as powerful as a pair of binoculars. And I guarantee the lenses on a cheap set of binoculars today are far better optically than what could be made back then.

That depends on how bright the sky is where you are, city lights can hide a lot...
