Remaster of a remaster [yo dawg] that should have been a free update, not a very groovy thing to do. One hell of a game, though
Here's hoping Nightdive in the future will focus on titles that actually need a proper remastering job and are stuck to ghetto patches with a fixed framerate etc. The list is potentially long albeit licensing deals can be an issue.
I have the fondest memories of this game from back in the day when I was a PC gamer, I had a retail box copy in 1997 and had just upgraded my 486 DX2-66 to an Intel Pentium 100 for Quake if I recall. Having never played Blood since and now being the console peasant that I am, they can take my money to experience it again!
Yeah this is definitely the best of the Build Engine games, its just so satisfying to play. The shotgun, dynamite and napalm launcher are just GOATed, especially the latter 2.
