This is mainly because it's very controversial regarding ZA/UM, the designer + writer and artist both left the company and created Red Info, a completely new studio. This also killed all plans for a direct sequel. The game has as much to do with Disco Elysium as Ubisoft making a GTA game.
I mean it could still be very decent, considering there are some people left and they are allowed to retain the style and rights from Disco Elysium, but it's definitely one of the reasons people stay pretty reserved about this.
So basically the main character is this guy with the hair and his sidekick is this bald guy with the glasses, both their superego projections into a video game, which could lead to creative differences, let alone issues with publishers.
Cult of personality for our main two creators, summed up to a cult game, you can't repeat that - or can you - given funding.
I'm not that interested tbh. He also mentioned the writing isn't that good as in Disco Elysium and the latter is the thing that makes that game so great. I think Disco Elysium is a unicorn, a type of game were everything came together that's hard to replicate.
And even if Zero Parades Delivers, it's better to wait for patches or a director's cut.
