Really looking forward to this, but then again I did enjoy 'Enter the Matrix' so maybe i'm a freak. Either way, check out the trailer.

Agree, I'm one of the ones who really enjoyed Enter the Matrix. I was ill at the time and it gave me a good few days of distraction from being stuck in my bedroom. The only way I can understand the criticism is in terms of the game not taking any risks.

The screenshots for this game look good. If it's just an updated version of Enter the Matrix with those graphics then I'll be sold.

yeah i have to agree.the only thing i saw wrong with it was that the engine was not optimised because at the time the 9800 pro/fx5800 ultra were the top spec cards and they could run the game though not as smooth as they shouldve.if this is enter he matrix with a better engine that runs smooth on x850/6800 ultras with different maps i would be more than happy. My only concern is that, we just play the stuff in the movie. Nothing new in the storyline, and basically same fighting scenes. Won't it be boring?

Well I was reading an interview and the developers said that there is lots of screentime where you don't see neo, and you get to play him at these points. Also there are many months between the movies and the developers have wroked with the wachowskis to create extra stroyline for you to play in.

An added bonus of working with them is that the developers have been given creative license to allow you to alter the storyline by your actions. They didn't feel that you should play through the whole game, only to have your character die at the end. So there are mutiple endings.

What I find odd is that the thread has no replies whatsoever after the game's release? Did everyone just fucking forget about it, or what? Laughing

Or there just weren't many people on the forum. If you look at the old posts from 2004 they don't have a lot of views.

I looked it up out of curiosity and lo and behold, there is an old thread indeed with 18 pages that's been sitting in the Trash since 2005 Exclamation Laughing
It's back where it belongs now: https://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17209

Unfortunately, most threads from that time either got lost forever after the Big Database Purge or ended up being split into separate mini-topics, it's quite a mess. The main Oblivion thread for instance was in the Useless Void for some arcane reason and had to relocate the outcast Razz
