Aye, there is definitely the need for a no-bullshit single-player Dead Space inspired title since EA won't be making new ones and The Callisto Protocol shabbily failed at its task. I just hope the Blooberfolks will find a remedy to the intrusive stuttering because it was pretty annoying for me in the SH2 Remake.
Callisto Protocol (never played, only read about it, watched many videos) felt like one of those games were just some tweaking of the game systems could have made it really good, no? It's so strange to me that instead of fixing it, just abandoning it... There are many years of work put into a project like that after all, sweat and tears.
Callisto was actually pretty good. Was dreading the combat but it was actually ok. It massivley rips of Dead Space, especially graphically in several ways and isnt as good but i still enjoyed it. Played just last month.
wish these games were better balanced, all environments are foggy, gritty and dark. Spice it up with environments like System Shock 2 where you have brighter and cleaner environments. Then you will appreciate the dark environments more when they come and they will come off as more atmospheric and you won't feel "drained".
