Hey guys welcome to my video. Do you want to know what PalWorld is like to play? Palworld = Anime Ark. Don't forget to like and subscribe, thanks for watching!
Thats all you need to say
Crafting like Ark, building a base like Ark, same handful of player stats to level up like Ark, Boss fights like Ark, resource collecting like Ark (bushes and trees), tame pets like Ark, island like Ark, weapons like ark, hunger like Ark, stamina like Ark, tech tree to learn like Ark, mining like Ark (down to metal/boulders on the ground to hit). Crafting table tiers like Ark, tech levels (wood/stone/metal/tech) like Ark. Dropods (chests with loot) like Ark.
Let someone take Ark, make a mod to change the dinos to pokemon..bam you got palworld.
His breath of the Wild reference is a stretch unless he means open world grassy area stuff, then yea..like Ark..dont need a difference reference for that. And fortnite? I dont see anything in it remotely like fortnite after 35 hours in it.

I dont get this guy's channel. The name is wrong. It shouldn't be "Worth A Buy?" It should be "Would he buy".
- Genres he personally likes, even if rough around the edges: Amazing reviews, cannot recommend enough, even shit games in his wheelhouse get constructive criticism type reviews where despite the issues its got promise (Wouldn't be under 5 out of 10)
- Genres he personally dislikes even if a good game: Games shit, gameplay is annoying, cannot recommend at all. (Never would get over 5 out of 10)
Sort of a:
Genre he likes: It's got X,Y,Z features, BUT it does have it's issues. (negating dissonance)
Genre he dislikes: It's got X,Y,Z feature AND it does have it's issues. (reinforcing dissonance)
Not just this review, every video I have seen of his out of dozens I watched before I realized it was that. Is not him reviewing the game, its him reviewing if its his type of game.
Some games that was great (not meaning this one, I mean others), he shits on for the whole video about how the game play isn't fun. When it's not fun to him.

Knowing his reviews the guy is a sucker for survival games, he loves every fucking one of them. So if this game was not a hit he would have praised it, he is just being contrarian cause he think it's cool.
The game is way overrated but should be good enough for the survival games fanboy like he is.

way overrated? tell that to 20 million user who bought a game and it has very positive reviews on steam. Last time we've seen way overrated game - it was boringwart's legacy.

wut? No he doesn't, he likes 1st person shooter survival games ala Rust/Day Z types, not crafting/building ones. He has shit on every single one of them he has reviewed.
Valheim, Sons of Forest, Ark, The Forest, Raft and others. he ranted in all of them about the 'tedious base building' parts. and gathering resources...it's just not his genre. Valheim was the 'best' one and he just went on about how good the combat (like his preference is) was and criticized the non combat parts. Even Project Zomboid the fighting parts he praises (which he highlights the character customization, and the exploration..and grumbling about the complexity of building/crafting parts)
He is like the guy that reviews movies, can't stand action movies, and everytime he watches one says they are all too loud, too many explosions, shallow plotted, and too much gun play in them to recommend them to anyone.
Anytime he reviews a game that is a decent open world 3rd person or iso building/crafting/gather/hunger survival game. He repeats the same things: Could be a good game if not for the tedious base building and crafting parts...you mean, the game parts?
Is Palworld amazing? Meh. Like I said it's a unashamed Ark Clone. You like Ark, you will like this.
Nothing groundbreaking or revolutionary in it. But it's...fine. His review was, just talking about how he doesn't want to mine, or build, or capture anything. Nothing about the actual game.

WTF is that review and clickbait title?? "Should Your Boyfriend Play Palworld?"
Entire video based on title: Sure if we wants to, why not? Thanks for watching the video guys. Like and subscribe.
That review sounds like I was stuck listening to two random people in starbucks ramble on about how they tried this new computer game called "PalWorld"

Should Your Boyfriend Play is actually pretty funny. It's not actually a channel for women to decide whether they should let their boyfriends play a particular game, or whatever boomer incels think just based on the title.
NO LINKS TO ILLEGAL STUFF IN SIGS - DLC IS ILLEGAL TOO

Should they play 'X' is thematic in title only? Who would have guessed by the 50 titles called that? I was making fun of the premise as a title theme.
And pretty funny is subjective. it was more cringe and less funny to me. Take the two whitest wine drinking, pretty sure they have a "Live, Laugh, Love" poster in every room people, and have them try to be 'white people' cool about video games. It was like if HuffPost or Hobby Lobby had a videogame review channel.

Eventually, Nintendo will LOSE a lawsuit to someone willing to fight them off, I just can't believe Nintendo can just keep this lawsuits trolling forever.
