Nothing is set in stone, these were created to visualise what a modern version of the current theme/style/colours might look like.
Which would you pick if you had to? What would you change about the one you picked?
Keep in mind that whatever the final result may be, there will also be an additional optional theme with smaller margins/padding//buttons etc so that it's not so touch friendly/macfaggy.
Also, the below is for a 960 break point, either can go 100% width or high res fixed, there is no limit.

Difference between #2 and #3 is simply not having yellow icons
View at 100% if you want sharp images, otherwise they'll most likely be scaled down and blurry.
It's really the only secondary colour this place has. Hover states + admin names + logo. With that in mind + everyone wanting everything to be the same it seemed like the only choice

EDIT: I like #4 though I voted first and read the spoiler and rest of the post later but I choose #4 so it worked out OK.
(That or #2, I like the blue theme we currently have so it's one of those.)

Voted for 4 since it feels most authentic to the old hump, but I could also go for number 2.

Yeah seems the right amount of cut has been used, can't come up with something that's missing atm.
Edit: Actually thought of something... A lot of people notice private messages quite late. So I was wondering if you guys could add it so something would be on top of the message icon for ex. number of new messages or just 'New' on top of it. Maybe even colour it red or something else that would be noticed faster.

You could make it so that when a PM arrives, a ribbon appears underneath the Post section under in the header that you could click on. It would be in some color and visible

well, it's obvious why though. The color of your theme most resembles the original and the rest are eye piercingly white, which is far worse.
