Damn, you play as an asthmatic. So my comment from the Star Wars:Outlaws thread becomes real sooner than I thought.

Surely that's the next step in Gaming. Since we are aiming at diversity and characters of color and LGBT+∞ will become boring in 5 years. Then companies will start adding Down syndrome, ADHD, Tourette etc characters. With full immersion where your avatar will do whatever it pleases every now and then or use curse words at everything (but still in PG12 rating game, because would be Disablism otherwise!).
After those get overused we go with blind and deaf where the screen is barely visible or no sound is added (which saves money too!).
Surely, that's the idea (and to add some other resource gathering with inhalers on top of batteries), but imo will turn into annoyance. So you go somewhere, see the monster and your vision almost completely blurs out?. And you get a choice to use the inhaler and probably die due to the noise or try to hide almost blind? Usually music or camera focus are the best increases of tension. Getting half blind during horror parts doesn't seem fun to me, but will see. Or not *hard breathing and nearly passing out*
I rather think thats a choice to add to the tension? With astma attacks etc
would be more imaginative if you played as an obese person who randomly farts and is also addicted to chips and crackers which he has to eat every ~10 minutes.
farts could be both bad and good, good because it propels you faster in the direction you're facing (as long as the fart is active) but bad because they sound a lot.
I tried it last night (ISOddemo). Fucking HATE that everything that you can interact with, doors, cliffs etc has yellow paint on it . WHY would someone spray paint a cliff in the woods to let someone else know that you can use that cliff to climb on?? IN THE FUCKING WOODS!!
It's like the devs thought "Our players are complete retards. Lets paint everything they can interact with yellow. So they understand, because they prolly have like 12 IQ" - "Another dev: AWESOME LETS DOE ITTTTT"
So I’ll like it if the yellow paint doesn’t bother me?
I think it was Still Wakes The Deep that had an option to turn off or at least reduce yellow paint in the Settings. I was both surprised and impressed! All games should have that!
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
