Anyone running totk on steam deck? How is it now compared to switch performance?. I've been thinking about going through the hassle of installing it, but can't without stable framerate, I can deal with 30 fps, they don't feel that bad in a small screen.
I've not been able to get stable 30 about 7-9 months ago when i tried. At times it looked like it would be possible, but others i could not get over 20-22.
There are probably some obscure manual configs i have not tried out, but in the end it was too much hassle for me.
So the sc-55 emulator linked above is made by nukeykt, I saw that he also made a detailed (Cycle accurate) emulator for Sega mega drive. Also credited was "sorgelig", which tell me this is related to the mister fpga project. So I want over there to see what they had to say.
And what I found was fpga evangelist questioning their reality. Why would a core have to state that it was "Cycle accurate"? Aren't they all?
Turns out, no. Only, like, 2 of them are at this level, and that's counting mega drive.
For transparency, I have owned a mister fpga, it did not have save states and could barely run doom, my initial goal was to use it as a retro computer. Sadly that was not possible. And I sold my mister, back to the seller, ultimatemister, cool dude. And I have since found exodos does what I wanted.
Just thought, I would share a "win" for the software emulators out there.
I am looking for a play to (properly) play the old lightgun shooters Time Crisis. Ideally the arcade versions, but with mouse aiming.
I think there are some PS2 versions with Guncon support, but my understanding is that those look worse and while easy to emulate, there would be no crosshair for mouse aiming for example.
Looking around I could not find any good guides or solutions to this. Any ideas?

Realistically, at this point they'd likely not sell enough to justify the work unless they remade it with modern graphics and unlocked fps. It's a bit too late to just release it on PC as is, or just a remaster.
