The "great story idea" better not still be that bugfuck insane dinosaurs with guns bullshit.

Anything that doesn't involve superheroes is good by me.

Just don't let Joe Johnston near it again!

I so want Spielberg to direct this. He seems to be occupied with his next projects such as Robocalypse and Lincoln as a director, though. I, at least, hope Joe Johnston stays within a hundred miles away from the 4th part. Sad

And whats wrong with 3rd part?I like it so much.Yes,first film was best from all three but imo the worst film was second, not third.Maybe because i read the books about 20 times each and second film is very different than story in the book and i deffinitely more like book story.I dont understand why people dont like 3rd film much.It was very good and if new film was good as it it will be great.

Most important for me is what will be main story for this fourth film.I mean what will be relation with original idea.I hope not to make something completely different.

I basically want the whole cast from the first film back. Well, the kids can be omitted, but Attenborough and Dern will be more than welcome to return as well. Very Happy

Speaking of Robocalypse - I really do hope he leaves out some of the more boring parts from the book.

I'd love to see Neill, Dern and Goldblum all reunited. Not sure about the movie being good though. Ever since the latest "Indiana Jones" Spielberg is no longer a guarantee of quality for me anymore Razz

The only thing I liked about JP3 was the T-Rex and whats it's chops fight scene. The rest was pure garbage. But saying that anything with dinosaurs in with todays special effects could look very good. I do hope it's a good story and no crappy actors are hired.. Yeah a bit of Micheal Bay would not go amiss !!

Would be great indeed if the old cast was reunited, there was a fantastic chemistry between all the actors. Razz Also could be a way to re-launch their careers (assuming that the movie won't be horrible of course Laughing)

Neill and Goldblum have always had steady careers. They were as much looked after as they're today.

As for Spielberg - now I'm glad he'll be only producer. Don't think he's had much of a success in the sci-fi genre in the last 25 years. War of the Worlds, Indiana Jones 4, The Lost World in a way, A.I. were quite disappointing (Minority Report was good, though). He's always been a contradictory director to me. One time he puts out a great movie, while another - total garbage.

I totally agree with the above statement. Smile

Well, everybody has to start off from somewhere. Tron's director was a first-timer, for instance, and the movie turned out being decent.
