She is too weird. She employs forced awkward salacious jokes.
Speaking of failed GILVes, she used to wear clothes with nipples poking out, that was cringy to behold on a middle-aged woman popularizing science.
There's also quite brutal criticism of her special relativity time dilation explanation.

Welcome to listening to most specific field scientists
Nearly everyone of them I know is like that. One that is good at public/casual conversation about a topic is an outlier, not the norm.

Women always get a bit more criticism about looks and dress than men in STEM fields (and in any professional setting really).
Like I can't remember what conference it was.,.around 2011-ish(?). But a man got up in tshirt and jeans and gave his presentation on stage. Nothing negative. Female after him in tshirt and jeans? All talk was criticism of how tight her jeans was, and how unprofessional it was to wear a low cut (v neck) shirt to do the presentation...when the guy was wearing a v neck also. Only difference was his was dark grey, hers was white and could see nipples if you look REALLLLY hard...damn science whore, amiright?

Hey I remember seeing her before, but it wasn't that long ago and she looked much.. younger and milf'ier
Not a good sign most of us don't talk about the content of the vid but "WOHMAN", clearly all well adjusted adult males with healthy attitudes towards women

If it was a professor with a big dong and no underwear, he'd get flak too. Stop giving enternal victims sympathy for imagined sexism.
Ok sorry...that whole conference situation and post discussion was on me. I should have known better.
You dont even know what she dressed like (assuming you dont know which conference I am talking about, I could be wrong) and you are agreeing it's probably her fault..LOL

Thank you. It's gotten pretty insane as of late, but this is really a prime example of it

I wouldn't say Dialect a sole youtuber that is not a physicists by trade (or at least by the info given by the creator) as "quite a bit of brutal criticism" of it. It's a single youtuber.
And the criticism is not directly at her (well his is, but it's misdirected), its at the study of physics as a whole that states that. And she is not the only one to claim, nor the one that formulated that gravity is a product of time dilation. Its not her understanding of it, its the general consensus of the understanding.
Either way, Dialect doesn't give the assumptions they make to form this counter opinion, they leave that assumption out for you to infer, which is not how debating counter theories work.
Not saying he OR her is right, reality is far too complex to fit into a youtube video. Just saying a single lone youtube channel disagreeing with current scientific theorems' is not "quite a bit of harsh criticism" of her. It's a single person disagreeing with the scientific community. He just uses her specific video for his arguments.

DX has defaulted to his usual ramblings.
Boy! You must be "fun" to be around IRL.
Or is it just internet forums that make you behave this way?

I dunno maybe we all are?
I came to read about portable power. When I walked into the room heard "You see her nips?", "She's not as GILFy as before" and "Some rando on youtube disagrees with her presentation of one of the current theories of time dilation. She R bad"
SO maybe?
