Hey , Can someone help me out here since ive not had much luck over at
xbox scene forums , so heres the question :
If anyone has used SID3.0 can you answer this Q for me :
I have loaded the saved game of 007 , and im now at the menu where you install the softmod.
Can someone tell me if you have to install the EvoX dashboard first before I install the Softmod
The menu looks like this :
Install Softmod
Install EvoX Dashboard
What one do i select first?

shouldn't matter as the fonts from the soft mod should point to the dash.. the important thing is you do both. i have not used it before so cannot comment too much
if it gives you the option of softmod out of pbl metoo or NKpatcher choose Nkpatcher as you can then setup a shadow c afterwards and you will get a virtual eeprom by default which makes your xbox bullet proof ..also if it has the option of uxe,ude2 and ude then choose uxe as its the only one of the 3 that works on all xboxes

The thing is , Im already running the SID installer is it safe to turn the xbox off? , without it damaging? The only thing ive done so far is backing up the MS Dash. If so Ill give you a PM

I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

Also , When i goto 'Install Softmod'
Its says
Boot C EvoXdash.xbe
Boot D EvoXdash.xbe
Boot E EvoXdash.xbe
Boot F EvoXdash.xbe
Etc...
Ive not tryed 'EvoX Install' Yet. But i was thinking i wont be able to boot those dashes unless i install it first?

its probably asking which path you want the softmod to look for the evoxdash, so when you install evox make sure its on the same path
as i said i don't know the SID procedure

Well , When i went into 'Install EvoX' Asked it to install on C:
All i got was an ERROR Message , so thats not working for some reason

well hopefully the softmod has installed a dash for you or you will get an error screen with error 21 ... if you get this its not too much of a problem

Well i done the other one , Told it to boot without the tray open its installed some files by the looks of it , :S i think thats me done? i should just reboot the xbox now?

its all right you just have no dash for the softmod to load... if you have a backup game or anything put that in and see if it runs... switch it on with the disc in

Well , Ive sorted out most of the problems myself. Jonels thanks for helping me getting the EvoX dash on it BUT I then had more problems when i got it installed , Everytime i started booting it came up with an ERROR for xbox live. and woudnt let me boot to the dash or MS Dash , so i reinstalled the lot. and its been running very good without any problems.
EDIT : It seems the Auto-Installer Deluxe Disk was causing the problems.
