Didn’t expect this!
Nor did I expect Giancarlo Esposito but great cast though! Very Happy

Yep, first episode wasn't bad. Really loved Vinnie Jones character and the scene in his hut with the animals <3

Ep 1 and Ep 2 are brilliant. But then it goes downhill (not too much, but the Guy Ritchie flavour is gone after ep2).

Still a solid 7/10 all around, First ep was 9.5, second a strong 8.5.

Watched 3 episodes and yes. I think he can write dislikable characters and quirky villains, but really likeable characters? Not really.

The story is laughably similar to a random GTA game. He gets his first mission which is to steal an expensive car. The typical steal the keys stuff and get out without being detected mission. It's the typical GTA story of working your way up the ladder of organized crime. It has Michael and Trevor as the main protagonists, basically.

But i don't hate it, i will continue to watch it because it's at least kind of entertaining and it's absolutely not slow paced; from normal person to a hardcore criminal who does missions in a heartbeat. again, very game-like and not exactly how you do a well written or believable story.

Finished it - loved it.

Say what you will about Guy Ritchie, his movies/shows are by no means the greatest, but I'll be damned if they don't ooze that certain style (which was perfect for this setting).

I didn't dislike any of the characters, but it's a shame the sister didn't get almost any screen time - that would have been an interesting dynamic to have added in.

They set it up nicely for season 2, but knowing Netflix they'll probably shit the bed and cancel it.

I also found it fun and definitely worth a watch for me. Would I rewatch Season 1? No. Would I watch a Season 2? Hell yeah!
