Jon Favreau to Direct New Star Wars Movie, The Mandalorian & Grogu A brand new Star Wars movie directed by Jon Favreau is on the way and it is called The Mandalorian & Grogu. The film is set to go into production later this year and the team shared a first look image at what we can expect. The news was revealed by StarWars.com and it was also confirmed that Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, and Dave Filoni will all be on board to produce the movie.
