Netflix has revealed Doug Cockle - the gravelly voice of Geralt of Rivia in CD Projekt's The Witcher series - will be reprising his role as the silver-haired monster-bopper in a new animated movie coming to the streaming service "late" next year.
The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep, as the film is officially titled, begins with Geralt investigating a series of attacks in a seaside village. However, as answers are slowly revealed, Geralt finds himself drawn into a centuries-old conflict between humans and merpeople.
Also, isn't this story in one of the earlier books? One of the mini-stories IIRC. It sounds familiar
Yes, it's from the second book (collection of stories) that was published. Later on it was published again in the other set that changed the order of all the stories to put them more in a chronological order within the world
Doesn't seem retarded, aside from Geralt screaming which comes across as a bit odd.
The blonde seems like it's voiced by a small boy tho... Geraldo, don't do it, nooooooo!

I tried watching this, but its just horrible. Doesnt really feel like witcher and the voice acting is subpar. Animation is fine for the most part. What killed it for me was the reminders that you're watching a cartoon, like weird animations and happenings etc. When the disney esque singing started by the mermaid woman i shut it off. That was enough
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
