“Orphan Black” follows outsider, orphan and street-wise chameleon Sarah, who will be portrayed by actress Tatiana Maslany (“Picture Day”). After witnessing a woman’s suicide, Sarah assumes the stranger’s identity, who happens to look just like her. Expecting to solve all her problems by cleaning out the dead woman’s savings, Sarah is instead thrust headlong into a kaleidoscopic mystery as she realizes the dizzying truth: she and the dead woman are clones. / As Sarah searches for answers, she discovers the chilling fact that there are more people like her out there — genetically identical individuals who were planted in unsuspecting birth parents and nurtured in completely different circumstances. With no idea who created the clones, she’ll need to discover the reason in a hurry as an assassin is killing them one by one.
Maybe its the lack of stuff to watch, but both the wife and I are enjoying this
Mr Stereotype (her brother) is annoying, he does have some of the best lines though. But other than that its enjoyable.
It aint gonna win any awards, but I have seen worse. I have not finished it yet, so maybe it will end up shite, but well I have feck all else to watch

Well S01 has ended, but as I said in the OP I have not finished it yet, so I dont know if it had an 'ending'

I thoroughly enjoyed the first season and watched it all in a few days.
Yea the story is not concluded in any way in the first season.
Though the season storyline does wrap up in a way that i guess they were covering their asses in case they didn't get a second season.

Really good performance by the actress, so many different roles and still quite believable. Good show. Weird that we did not already have an thread about it =)
I'm not sure I agree. Any film/series based around the central basis of cloning most certainly qualifies to be called scifi to me, especially about advanced human cloning such as this. Though I've not yet started watching so I couldn't speak from experience with the show
I have got to agree with Sabin on this, just the subject of human cloning would give something a Sci Fi tag for me.

if its any good, i am going to watch it in 2016 or something. So i've like 4 seasons to watch at once. I am so tired of watching a show for 2-4 months and then wait for 8-10 months.
