It's 3 seasons, just the last one was made recently. Don't watch the Stephen King remake.

Bureau des Légendes and Gomorra (especially the latter) are solid TV series from the French Canal + Razz

Another one from the Boopilands that hasn't been mentioned yet and it is worth watching: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1242773/?ref_=tt_urv (There's a movie as well with the same name, but the TV series is the superior experience)

Some of these are hard to find. Having to visit all of the 7 seas to source them. That one was pretty easy though ^^^^, thanks!

Almost finished season 1, and it looks like season 2 is here:

Sahsiyet S02E01
Sahsiyet S02E02

Edit: Season 1 was great, but one thing annoyed me. It was 12 episodes, which I didn't think it needed to be, and then the last episode crammed in and time skipped a tonne of stuff, including:

I just finished S01, I loved it. I thought it was better than Gomorrah, I liked the characters a lot more

I've been watching S01 of Şahsiyet (just finished episode 7). It started very strong, but there's been some laziness with the writing in the last few eps. Also, what's with the mentally challenged grandson (and friends) and their retarded side plot?. The kind of stuff why I wouldn't put it on the same level of a masterpiece like Gomorrah, though to be fair, they're very different tv shows. Still, I hope that the main plot will wrap up nicely in the end.

Characters and acting performances are so far the most consistent aspect of this show, especially the 2 leads and some of the secondaries, though for a few others, like Nevra's mother, it feels like it was their first acting gig Laughing

Anyway, hopefully they don't take too long with those subs for S02.

The comparison was between Gomorrah and Romanzo Criminale, not Sahsiyet Very Happy

The side plot was indeed... odd, the fact the girl barely spoke until the end was just strange

Oh sorry! Romanzo Criminale was great indeed Very Happy Watched the whole thing quite a few years ago. It's up there with the best.

Finished season 1 of Şahsiyet, a truly well made show. The performance by the 2 lead actors was great, the main protagonist (Agâh) in particular was fantastic. Some of the secondaries were remarkable as well, like for instance the flamenco-loving judge's wife. I just wish they hadn't wasted so much runtime on the idiotic teenage side plot Laughing

I officially join the wait for the english subs for season 2, in the meantime here is the (subtitled) trailer:

Pretty sure you could remove that entire subplot in an edit and the entire show would still make sense

I did notice subtitles for ~5 episodes of S02 the other day but I haven't tried them yet

Anyone tried this?

Some good Flemish tv shows:

The Day (De Dag)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6144672/

The Pearlfishers (De Parelvissers)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0795522/

Van Vlees en Bloed
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1345811

Buiten de Zone
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0139768/
From the '90s, still one of my favorite comedy series. Very Monty Python-esque.

Clark (Swedish, Netflix) is hilarious and well made about the guy who gave rise to what is known as "the Stockholm Syndrome", Clark Olofsson. Bill Skarsgård as Clark.

I found magnet links to the rest of them on that "1337" website Smile Didn't try them though, and they're likely without subtitles.
