Elly Conway (Bryce Dallas Howard) is the reclusive author of a series of best-selling espionage novels. She loves spending her nights at home with her computer and her cat, Alfie, but when the plots of her fictional books—which center on secret agent Argylle and his mission to unravel a global spy syndicate—begin to mirror the actions of a real-life spy organization, quiet evenings at home become a thing of the past. Joined by a cat-allergic spy called Aiden (Sam Rockwell), Elly and Alfie race across the world to stay one step ahead of the killers as the lines between Elly’s fictional world and her real one begin to blur.
I have seen this yesterday and yeah it's kinda not good. It probably was an atempt at camp spy movie - that is a bad spy novell inception as implied couple of times in the movie. But unfortunately usually Matthew Vaughn can deliver at least good action scenes - here they are hit and miss, weirdly shot and too much of a rule of cool looking. But they are not cool due to some shitty CGI. Also the further into the movie the less fucks were given. There was a fight in crude oil - and my mind was, yeah some slippery hand to hand fight that is brutal but Vaughn stepped in and said - no, no it's pg-13 comedy, and it stupid - so we will have a skating on crude oil fight scene. My mind exploded - yeah that sounds cool but yet skating on crude oil that's stupid. So you sit there bamboozled and stupified watching thick ass Bryce skating and stabbing bad guys.

Yeah, this was a crapfest.
Also way to long, should have cut the 20 minutes of deadmeat in the middle, had no tension.
And watching Bryce do action really takes you out of it, just looks weird. I didn't think i'd react to that , but my brain just couldn't let it go, looked unnatural.
