So i slept most of the day (friday) cos of pollen allergy headache and woke up round 3pm.. since i slept most of the day away i had forgotten to take my adhd medication. So i took that one when i woke up..
...now im still fully away and its closing in on 6am..
speaking of adhd, heres a good way to tell that ive got that shit.
At 3am i was doing some d&d reading, while watching telly, while watching an itterogation on youtube, while listening to music. I was supposed to do some writing when i noticed that i had forgotten to put a direct link to the d&d books on my streamdeck..so i decided to do that, but instead of doing that I went to make a cappuccino..and on the way i saw my 3dprinter and thought "hey, why not clean it?"...so at 3am i was standing in my kitchen with latex gloves on, mouth protection, dressed only in undes...while talking to my cat as i took out the chemicals needed for cleaning. I cleaned the printer, went back in to continue with d&d and ended up chatting with an old friend on messenger while "talking" to my cats...
its 5:50 and im still going strong - from 3am up until now its been a constant change of what do to lol.
Perhaps i should go to bed instead
Edit: I wonder if my neigbours saw me..some years ago when i had spitting cobras one of my neigbours right across the road saw me standing with a hook, eye and eye protection (you could not see the snakes)...i still today wonder what he thought i was up to
Edit2: Other strange things ive done through out the night so far: Polishing a helmet, sorting papers that i have not touched in years, cleaning a c64 motherboard, installing/uninstalling loads of games without starting them etc etc...
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

Concerta laying around, and yes, if i take that (chew it / grind it first) there's going to be a lot of cleaning, dusting, all kinds of sorting in my drawers, perhaps starting a game for 5-10 minutes then switching to something else for 5 minutes... |
Hehe yeah, you get shitloads of energy. Without it i kind of sleep 24/h...and if i try to work, well i wont do a good job anymore as im incredible tired.
I've only been using the medication for 18months, but its the best bloody thing ive ever! It has changed my life Also, i used to be very agressive and get into fights - now im still agressive, but i keep it in my brain rather than my fists

Do you take it like you should, or do you chew it / grind it? I did try using it (Concerta) properly once, i noticed an improvement in mood and creativity, even if pretty vague.
Meh, no longer have a source for that stuff, but perhaps its for the better heh

I swallow it, but im supposed to take it when i wake up after eating breakfast...but i never eat breakfast (btw, im not a big/heavy guy...but ive lost like 20kg due to the medication during a 6month period..ive stopped losing weight now though).
Ive got 2 different strength (yeah, concerta) in the morning i take 54mg, but if i need to keep alert i have 18mg i can take in the afternoon.
Bad thing about adhd medication...well...if you got adhd you have a tendency to forget things fortunatly i always have my medication with me and also a gf who keep her eyes on me

Cool. Happy it's working out for you.
I'm forgetful too, I take betablocker against palpitations (can come randomly at night, so it wakes me up and then i can't sleep until it goes away), forgetting it sucks. I sometimes wonder if i have it because i took quite a lot of uppers when i was around 25-30, might have messed with the heart.. though my father have the same thing so its perhaps more likely i got it from him heh

Yeah that sounds like ADHD... At least the H part
Medication is usually amphetamines (for adults at least) which, as known, provide energy boosts so hence the "polishing of the helmet"
I was diagnosed as a teenager but never took any medication because...i dont know... Now I'm 40 and sometimes, besides the can't concentrate part, I have some brain fog here and there. Wonder if it's related.
Talked to a doc about a year ago and he told me since I didn't take anything as a kid I shouldn't start now and better do behavioral therapy. You guys tried that?
