Had to happen at some point considering publishers pretty much left the event in order to organize their own little thing.. but man, E3 was like THE yearly event I was looking for with anticipation back when I was a kid, with the reports from gaming journos about their visits there.. this new format for games4 announcements isn't quite as exciting to me, but whatever, I guess.

this years showcases reminded me why i want e3 back. e3 did have its moments, even if it was with fake trailers, cringe moments, memes for years, now we stuck with boring ass shows.
Dead for years. First they cancelled the booth babes, then at one point they stopped doing live gameplay demos and then even stopped with the expensive cringe conferences. It became a cheap, fake trailer show, years before it died officially. Remember the best times - 2008-2016.
Imagine going E3 just to see no gameplay or fake gameplay videos of scam and early access titles, then highlight of whole show would be teaser trailer of OD.

i went there in 2010 something and it was just a shitty convention, sub standard dull , like a cebit ... it was just these cunt journalists making it sound like it was epic cause they got bribed going there with whores n cocaine for after event stuff ...
i rather have e3 than jeeeeeeeeeeeef keeeyley 4h show that has 30min game and 3.5h commercials, full of kojimasan bs and greedy hollywood actors coming to gaming now that they see its profitable.....

I don't see the point of going to/watching a show that presents games in the best possible light/hype, watch people take turns to pat each other on the back, and commenting on how fragrant each others farts are, and trying to talk me into buying everything everyone is showcasing.
Maaaaybe 15+ years ago it was a gathering of pure gaming enthusiast going to and hosting things about gaming (which wouldn't be my cup of tea either back then..crowds of people drain my social tank at 100x speed lol).
But as far as showcasing games, showing game hype, and pushing sales for them. I just look at games and decide on my own if I want to play it, I don't want/need anyone whose job it to to get paid to tell me about it (or depends on sales of it), telling me about it

another shitshow of a showcase from jeeeeeeeef, fuck this bs, seems more and more people are starting to point out jeeeefs bs, the savior from e3 btw cuz e3 bad... say wat u want about e3, the crunch, the fake trailers, the cringe etc but it was an event everyone was looking to forward every year, one big event very packed, big celebreties, game devs, etc and it never disappoint
wtf was this years show, the indie games showcase? there is a time and place for them and showing them at the supposed biggest event of the year is not the place to do it. how is announcing a dlc for a fucking game, or trailer for an indie game that has an early access release etc worthy for this event? wat a fucking joke
A trailer during Summer Game Fest’s main show this year cost $250,000 for 1 minute, $350,000 for 1.5 minutes, $450,000 for 2 minutes, and $550,000 for 2.5 minutes.
i laughed my ass off at tall these woke games thinking it was an onion satire, thank god for this show showing off how mentaly disturbing some people have become without mental health and how many of them are infiltrating gaming thinking we give a fuck, we dont, we just want good games and ur colored hair dont make good games
