Naughty Dog is not doing this, so it will probably be ok. Its Nixxes.

both those ssds released after ps5, anyway it dosent matter, sn850 still too slow that was first gen 4, these latest ones like sn850x, 990pro, fury renegade etc should be faster than the ps5

i dont say u need them, just saying at ps5 launch it was faster

Recommended specs released, will be the first game to use DirectStorage 1.2 with GPU decompression

SSD is not required, but presumably the experience won't be nearly as fluid or impressive when teleporting between worlds.

Apparently DirectStorage will only be used for high detail settings so shitty old HDDs and slower SSDs will still work on low and medium settings.

or nixxes, being the capable porting company with years of experience and a good track record that they have, changed some things so that the game runs on every hardware

but nobody knows until after the game comes out and will be compared to ps5 version

So far Sony hasn't found it necessary to attach "D" to their console to PC formats. So I don't expect here .
