As this is a greatest hits I wont bother with a "real review".. I do feel I should comment on the tracks they put onto this album, I will put them into 2 lists, the first represents the good, classic and corrent choices. The seccond makes me cry..

See, there are so many songs that should have been on this album, I'm sure any old school fan will agree that they have made a big cock up with there choices, although, this was no doubt based on "chart ratings".. So here is a list of songs that so should have made this album!!!
BAD HABIT - How is this song not on the album? It is the single greatest song by the band.. period.
Genocide - Quality song
Smash - OOOoooo yes!
No Breaks
Americana
I choose - Classic!
Way Down the line
Hell.. just the whole of Smash and Ignition should of been on there  ..
ok.. rant over..

Pretty fly for a white guy is one of the dumbest songs ive ever heard. Only thing i liked by the offspring was the Smash album. To me that is their greatest hits album.

i liked ixnay and smash and parts of americana most. I honestly dont see how walla walla isn't on their, or blackball either. They got a few songs right but... hit that? original prankster? The offspring were in my top 3 fav bands.... now i'd say they're lower. I saw them live and they weren't "spectacular" and the last 2 albums have been a bit too mainstream. I also hate seeing little 12 yr old wannabe rockers walking around in offspring hoodies like they know what they're doing

i never understood why they did all those lame songs like "pretty fly" that sound the same and had these stupid videos.
jesus christ was a gangsta rapper. they killed him. he came back and made a platinum album.

for the same reason i said... it was 12 yr olds thinking they were cool. Although i did like pretty fly for a white guy i still wouldn't call it 1 of their best.

I love The Offspring. The PROBLEM is that all their SHITTY songs are the ones that get airtime! All the stupid 'comedic' songs that may be fun for the lyrics, but the song itself sucks.
For those of you who think they suck (understandably), listen to some of their older stuff, or their good songs that didn't get airtime.

I too liked them when I was a teen (back in the days), but my taste in music grew with me.
