It was rather fun, nice for a weekend watch with the missus. Some good acting in this series.
I didn't particularly like how things wrapped up near the end (not the ending in itself, rather the last few events before it) but all in all, it was a reasonably nice watch.

As sympathetic as she was, I found the Birch character (which had no real life equivalent, the family did hire a private investigator but there was nothing interesting about it) to be the one that fit the least into it all. She had that classic role of the semi-external helper in any narrative, but idk, she was both too/not enough fleshed out, if that makes any sense.
