Hi guys so my old case, zalman z1 neo, was getting really hot on top. And I figured I should buy a case with a mesh top, cuz I'm a genius. So after I bought SilentiumPC Armis AR6X TG, I noticed that although it has a mesh top, it doesnt have a mesh front. So i've bassicaly traded my front mesh for a top mesh. I'm confused now whether I wasted my money or not, and if I should cancel my order or not.

Not really a mistake you made buying it, but if your case has a hotspot its more lack of airflow to remove the heat and it builds up enough to warm up the exterior, than the need for a mesh to let it escape.
For example my PC is sealed to the point other than the fan inlets it could almost be IP water resistant rated lol. But have every fan slot filled with high volume low noise Noctua fans with dust covers. I hate blowing dust out of it, so I make sure its positive pressure biased (so any cracks has some air coming out, not sucking in from the room).
It's a tiny mini-ITX with a 5950x and 6800xt crammed into it, but outside stays about room temp to the touch.
SO long ramble shorter: The top mesh may help get around the problem, but doesnt fix the issue that's causing the problem. If your case is hot to the touch, there is a lot of system heat and temps that has time sit around long enough to saturate it, you could lower by other means. A passive open mesh will only let it out by the passive hot air rising which is drastically slower/less efficient for system temps than even a single well placed fan would be.

Thanks for the reply guys, the new one also has a outtake fan on top to go with the mesh. So that's good. Only worried a bit that my intake fans on the front are less powerfull due to the glass.
Anyway its too late to cancel the order, just checked, the case is on its way, I really hope the front intake will sufice.

If the front ones are restricted by the glass, some case makers go for looks over function but not all. Get some high static pressure fans for the front. It will help 'force' the air through.
Some people try to put high volume fans thinking 'they blow more air, so more will make it' not always. Most super high volume ones are not good at static pressure and need free flow air to work well. Otherwise they are just like a desk fan you put a sheet on the back of: Blade spins like crazy, but its just doing so while moving very little air.

I also have a noctua d15s on my cpu with 2! fans. They should help get the air moving through the case I think

If it's on the CPU cooler it more helps move it around the case, than out necessarily.
Why I dislike those cases that dont have an exhaust fan on the back that lines up with CPU cooler fans. Thinking: Yea that's exactly what I want, suck all the heat off my CPU, hit the back wall and redirect it down and towards all my components at the bottom warming them all up so it can loop around and add MORE heat to it from the CPU cooler and repeat.
Think of it like a hair dryer on low heat setting you stuck in your case. That's all it is really. if your CPU is 150 watt max load, it's a 150 watt heater. (Thermal wattage is 100% efficient on 1 watt = 3.41 BTU/h regardless of what uses the wattage, all wattage converts to heat, it's the physics of how it works,).
Toss in a 400-500 watt video card. You now have what is equal to a 750 watt hair dryer running inside your case under full load. [2500 BTU heater in there]
No matter how fast you turn the fan up on the hair dryer if the heat doesn't have something moving it out, you are just blowing the hot air around faster in a circle for the majority of it that doesnt find a way out on its own. Turning the fan up on the dryer doesn't cool the inside down any faster.
