It examines the corruption and moral collapse that befell an American city in which the policies of drug prohibition and mass arrest were championed at the expense of actual police work.
The cast includes Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead, Show Me a Hero), Josh Charles (The Good Wife, In Treatment), and Jamie Hector (BOSCH, The Wire), among many others.
Pelecanos and Simon also serve as writers, along with director and executive producer Reinaldo Marcus Green. They are joined by longtime collaborators Nina K. Noble as executive producer, and Ed Burns as writer/executive producer. HBO alum Kary Antholis also serves as executive producer; Bill Zorzi as writer/co-executive producer, and D. Watkins as writer. |

i hope the wire dude watched the shield, cause if he goes at the pace of the wire, he will get canceled first season, its just to slow current day n binge age and im not getting any younger either, ive sofar never managed to rewatch the wire due to it being so slow n long

You're so right bro, like 4 episodes of the shield is like 2 seasons of the wire. That David Simon guy needs to learn how to condense his story lines. Like Jesus. Such a slow show. Wasted like 4 minutes on a bunch of no name actors saying mother fucker non stop. Ridiculous. We need action and pew pew pew.
He also did generation kill. That had plenty of pew pew.
But then he did Treme. Such a slow show. 4 seasons could have just been 2. Literally nothing happens. :/
This looks dope. Punisher though looks fucking retarded with that hair style. Lol.

Aren't they in a middle of a merger or some shit? Maybe once that's settled they'll actually compete with content delivery lol. they probably also looked at 4k adaptability much like Nintendo in their spec design. If not everyone has a 4k tv what's the point of creating a 4k console. Maybe because if you create worthy 4k content it'll drive tv sales
According to google 44% of people in ughmerica have 4k tvs.
1080p reach 100% satisfied customers. 4k reaches 44% satisfied customers.
And isn't America not the leading country in respect to internet bandwidth? You gotta pay that top dollar for premium and minimum wage. 10 or so bux a month for hbomax + 60 for internet to stream 4k content  that's some white privilege many folx don't have.

HBO Max has some movies in 4K so the platform should support it. I'd rather first see an increased bitrate for 1080p as some of the scenes are so smeared out. I think almost anything is recorded in 4K nowadays, although not sure if the CGI is actually done in 4K.
