|
 |
Hi
One my friend bought a DVD from New-England, and he can't read it here (America)... I can read it with my Philips because it reads all regions... So he wants me to make him a new copy of his DVD but with regions unlocked and stuff, what program do I have to use for that ?
Thanks alot.

IfoEdit will do the trick indeed, no need for decryption if you only want to remove the region.

tell him to download DVDRegionKiller, it will unlock his drive so Multi-region playback can be achieved.

hmm, i havent done this in a long time, but i think you have to select the *.ifo files on the dvd you want to remove the region code from.

Yeah, look in the video_ts folder on the dvd...

I'm not sure if this is the fastest way but ...
1. using dvd decrypter in 'files' mode (rips a video_ts folder instead of an image) copy dvd to your hard drive.
2. when finished, open ifoedit, open the .ifo files (I believe it's video_ts.ifo) and click the 'region free' button. Make sure to re-save the ifo.
3. burn using nero or whatever you use.
