Our reader ‘walikor’ has informed us about the PC release of BloodRayne: Betrayal, a side-scrolling action-adventure game that was released on consoles back in 2011. The Steam version of BloodRayne: Betrayal will support Steam cloud saves, as well as Steam Achievements, Leaderboards and Trading Cards.
Here are the game’s key features:
Kill evil vampire scum in 15 challenging levels across multiple unique acts, including: The Forest, The Attic and The Freaky Ballroom.
Meet new characters along the way including a mysterious shape shifter.
Feed on enemies and refuel your blood reserves in gruesome new ways including the Blood Fountain.
Solve environmental puzzles including Blood Seal, Grinder Switch and Rising Blood Tower.
Punishing combat skills deliver Rayne’s intense brutal fatalities: Infection: Enemy vampires bloat and explode when triggered. Heel Stomp: Instant-kill enemies after laying them out. Drain: Bite and drain your enemy’s blood to restore your health.
Full arsenal of lethal weapons including Rayne’s signature arm blades and super guns.
Battle a variety of new enemies and deadly bosses including Flying Parasites, Blood Balloons, Elite Guards and more

personal opinion
its a crappy lure for castlevania 2d fans that liked bloodrayne ... animation style is shit , fighting is awful , map is barren and not worth your time , enemy classes are the constant clones of one guy +infinity , music is a awful mix of bad rock opera ...
personally Majesco never recovered after the massive failure they had with Advent Rising
Too bad it does not seem like they will give this out for free like they did the other 2 games to previous owners, I wonder if WayForward being the devs have something to do with this after that Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition fiasco.
The controls stinks hard...And the game is like a small and ewasier Ghosts n Gobilns: They come out of NOWHERE and trolls you hard and fast enough to get ya on ya nerves
And whenever i've reached the 1st boss, if you end up way to the right side of the stage before the cinematic triggers you end up in an endless falling loop instead of being ontop of the boss, forcing you to repeat the level and make sure to just run to the right at the pre-boss area so you land on him and work it out later
I might finish it (GOG) but FFS, NO..."We squashes some bugs" OH YEAH I SEE!!!...I've never played the original but COME-ON !!!
