Great action adventure game, undersold by marketing, one of the most surprising games in recent time.

I just never got really good at the timings for some moves. Platinum Games are known for tight controls at 60fps, but Astral Chain seems to hava deliberately slow timings to compensate for the 30fps limit. As a result, I never reached the point where I pulled of complex combos the way I do in Platinums other games. I assume that many people felt that way.

i play it on emu Smile very fun game, i think it woulda been huge if it wasn't nintendo locked

Soundtrack is really nice. I thought it became a bit repetitive at a certain point and story slugged along. But overall this is really recommended.

It is platinum. Expect a steam release as well as console once Nintendo exclusivity lisence runs out.

I've been trying to play it. But the beginning tutorial is a chore imo. Can't get bothered to pass it.
