Bit of a longshot asking this here... maybe.
But any of you mens has any experience setting up something like this? Tutorials or anything?
Are there any heavy RAM requirements?I'm guessing for the CPU a 5900x will be enough, but I only have 16GB RAMzz.

What is Cisco environment VM ? Virtual machine running some Cisco Management on it?

Have a look at Network Chuck on YouTube. He's a Cisco guy. (Can't stand him, but you might find some useful info there.)

Thanks, will check that guy out.
I'm looking for an "emulated" Cisco lab, assuming this will be done by one (or more) Virtual Machines. One or two routers, couple more switches connected to those, maybe even a few ip phones or PC's running IP Communicator.

I don't have experience with this product but if they support Docker (they do have some stuff there) it's usually just one command to download and run it Smile Of course you still have to go through the app setup (if it exists) but you don't have to worry about package shit anymore.

Isnt packet tracer enough for the kind of labs you need?

All devices use cisco cli and no need to set up vms or anything, just install the program and start adding devices.

GNS3 is another tool you can use but I remember it was a bit more complicated than packet tracer.
